Who we are
Romzally Enterprises is a sole proprietorship operated by John A. Romley in the United States, building niche software for academic and professional work. This policy covers our website, our products, and the SMS notifications described on the home page.
Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, leased, traded, transferred, or otherwise disclosed to any third party, affiliate, or partner, for any purpose whatsoever.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, and — only if you choose to provide it — your mobile number.
- SMS consent records: the date you consented and the exact wording you agreed to, kept as proof that we had your permission.
- Service data: for our software products, the identifiers and files you submit in order to get a result back.
- Operational logs: records of what was sent or processed and whether it succeeded. Email addresses and IP addresses are masked in these logs, never stored raw.
We do not collect location data, contact lists, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or browsing activity. Our website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party content or advertising.
How we use it
To deliver the product or service you asked for, to send the notifications you consented to receive, and to keep records showing that consent existed. We do not build profiles, do not use your information for advertising, and do not use it for any purpose you have not agreed to.
How we store it
On systems we control. Credentials for messaging and email services are held in the operating system's credential store, never in plain text. Result files are removed on a retention schedule rather than kept indefinitely, and download links are single-use and expire.
Service providers
Sending a text message or an email necessarily requires a messaging provider and mobile carriers to handle it in transit. They act solely as conduits for delivery and are not permitted to use the information for any other purpose. This transmission is not a sale, transfer, or sharing of opt-in data, and no consent or opt-in data is provided to them for marketing purposes or passed on to anyone else.
How long we keep it
Contact details are kept while you want to hear from us and are deleted when you opt out or ask us to remove them. Consent records are retained after opt-out only as evidence that consent was validly obtained, and for no other purpose. Operational logs rotate and are discarded over time.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any message to end them, or email us and ask. You may also ask
what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be
deleted. We will do so promptly and at no cost.
One exception, described above: we keep the record of your SMS consent after you opt out, solely as evidence that it was validly obtained. It is never used to contact you and never used for anything else.
Children
Our products and notifications are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new effective date.
